Voiced by the magnificent Miriam Margoyles, this spot helps the British consumer overcome the taboo of treating piles. The insight is that people don't recognise the symptoms or realise that they have the condition. So we spelt it out in a tongue-in-cheek (sorry) way that was a breath fresh air in a category that's too afraid to do different. Aunsol got a whopping 25% increase in sales and has won gold effies for effectiveness. I got to make a film with a balloon knot in it. What's not to love?
